News:

February 12: The Registation for EUGEN 2012 is now open!
January 12: Registration for EUGEN 2012 will open on Febuary 1^st.
January 12: A selection of pictures from EUGEN 2011 is now available in the Gallery.
December 11: EUGEN 2012 will take place from August 6^th to 13^th in the Harz Mountains in Central Germany.
November 11: At the General Assembly in Karlsruhe a first outline concerning EUGEN 2012 was presented.
October 11: Also the Picture galleries can be accessed now via the new map.
October 11: Facelift on the website. Together with the preparations for EUGEN 2012 we created a new logo and enhanced the map for the meetings history. The gallery map will follow soon.
August 11: The preparations for EUGEN 2012 have begun. The meeting's website is www.eugen2012.de. Further information will be given from autumn on.
August 11: At the EUGEN near the Duburys Lake also the venue for EUGEN 2012 was elected. The participants voted for Germany. So we are happy to host the EUGEN 2012 next year already for the third time.
August 11: The EUGEN 2011 in Lithuania was a great success. A report and Photos will follow soon.
May 11: At the BuFaTa, which is held from May 19^th to May 22^nd in Greifswald, a presentation about EUGEN will be given by Rebacca Bast and Ingo Böttcher.
May 11: The EUGEN 2011 website now has information about the programme and detailed directions to go to the meeting place. Registration is still possible until June 30^th.
March 11: The website for EUGEN 2011 is online http://www.eugen2011.lt. Here you can find more information on the meeting.
March 11: EUGEN 2011 in Lithuania will be held from August 1^st to August 7^th at the shore of the Duburys Lake in the Northeast of the country.
December 10: During the general assembly also the name of EUGEN has been changed. It is now EUGEN e.V (EUropean GEosciences students Network). This has been done to emphasize the European focus of our assocciation.
December 10: The general assembly has voted for a new EUGEN head: Tobias Bauer (1st chairman), Rebecca Bast (2nd chairwoman), Janne Ohm (Finances) and Ingo Böttcher (Secretary) will represent EUGEN e.V. for the next two years.
October 10: Photos from Albania added to the Picture Gallery.
October 10: The 2010 General Assembly of EUGEN Deutschland e.V. will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct 30th, 2010 in Albertstraße 23b, 79104 Freiburg in the framework of the BuFaTa.
October 10: The report of the last EUGEN in Albania is online. A little Picture Gallery will also follow during the next weeks.
August 10: Eugen in Albania was a great success. The report will be published here soon. The participants voted for Lithuania as the organizing country of EUGEN 2011.
April 10: The EUGEN in Albania will take place from July 25^th to July 31^st, 2010. More information can be found here.
August 09: EUGEN in the Netherlands was held with more han 160 happy participants from 16 countries. EUGEN 2010 will be organized by our friends from Albania.
January 09: Happy new year! Our Dutch friends put their homepage for EUGEN 2009 online: www.eugen2009.e Finally, the report for EUGEN 2007 can be found here. I hope to finish the one for Switzerland soon.
November 08: The EUGEN main assembly took place at the BuFaTa in Darmstadt. The EUGEN members elected a new board. 1^st Chairwoman is Friederike Wittkopp, 2^nd Chairman is Tobias Bauer. Sarah Conrad is the new Secretary, the Finances will be further on managed by Janne Ohm. The new Webmaster is Bastian Roters. We thank the old members of the board Susi, Ingo and Chris for their work in spreading the EUGEN spirit.
August 08: The EUGEN in Switzerland is over. It was perfect. Our friends Jody Mijts and Mario Hendriks from Utrecht University have agreed to organize EUGEN 2009 in THE NETHERLANDS!!!

Oct 07: Main assembly of all EUGEN Deutschland e.V. members will be November 24, 18:00. Location: Geowissenschaftliches Zentrum, Goldschmidtstraße 1-3, 37077 Göttingen. This is (as always) included in the national meeting of geoscience students (called BundesFachschaftsTagung) which is going on in Göttingen from Nov 22 to Nov 25.

August 06: EUGEN Portugal is finished. Many new faces this time, and the for years huge Italian delegation has finally given in: The next EUGEN 2007 will be in Italy!!!
July 06: an EUGEN inspired meeting for european students of environmental sciences is being staged in Latvia later this July. It is called EURENSSA. Check out the website!.

Sept 05: National Geology students meeting (BuFaTa) is on 5.-8. January 2006 in Mainz. Main assembly of the members of EUGEN Deutschland e.V. is expected to be included somewhere therein.
August 05: Good news everybody! The next EUGEN 2006 will be organized by our long time friends and EUGEN-veterans from PORTUGAL!!! Cheers.
August 05: EUGEN Croatia is done. Ups & downs on this one, but great party. Update in History & Gallery sections to be expected in a couple of months or so.
June 05: EUGEN Croatia is drawing closer and closer, and the final and last registration deadline is extended to July 1st. Don't miss that or you'll regret...

Nov 04: General assembly of the members of the EUGEN Deutschland e.V. association was done in Freiberg, 20.11.2004. It was....quite a show. EUGEN Deutschland e.V. has a new internal structure. New official personnel can be checked in the contact section. Moving of the official postal address to Hamburg is in progress. Internal forum and guestbook are offline until new web hosting structure is clarified and put into effect. EUGEN picture central for members is coming up. Hang on a bit, we will soon be back in full stride.

Aug 04: internal meeting for present and future members of the EUGEN Deutschland e.V. is expected to take place during the next national meeting of geology students (BuFaTa) in Freiberg. Details are coming up. Major changes in personnel of the EUGEN Deutschland e.V. are planned.
Aug 04: EUGEN 2005 will take place in Croatia.
